P-XXV Streitaxt MBT Unit 0337 'Wustenfuchs'

The most advanced tank ever built, this vehicle was designed to be the ultimate war machine. Having more collective firepower than a nuclear weapon in a compact, mobile, well defended frame, capable of sustaining its destructive power virtually indefinitely, this was the pride of the German Armoured Force. Named Wüstenfuchs in honour of the legendary German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, unit 337 was one of three such P-XXVs in the fabled 7th Panzer Division, nicknamed the Ghost Division by German High Command in WWII. More than 400 years after the war's end, Rommel's nickname has only rarely been attached to any military vehicle. Being the leading edge of the German Blitzkrieg in the war on numerous occasions, it seemed almost natural that this rare namesake would be the vehicle to lead the expedition into the Rift world.
